Drift Track Design Sucks

Now is it just me or does anyone else feel like the design/layout of most of the drift tracks in this game are just terrible?? i.e the drifts in New York and the 'Upper East Side' drift circuits. Don't get me wrong, I'm level 1000+ and love the challenge of drifting in this game but I feel like the drift tracks aren't built/designed to allow you to naturally link corners and just drift smoothly. Especially the Upper East Side drift in this weeks summit, it seems that where you would naturally link corners and drifts together, the game cancels your multiplier because 'yOu HaVeN't BeEn DrIfTiNG LoNg EnOuGh'

Anyone else feel this way or is it just me??
