The Crew Drove a route from this random place to Salt Lake City using the Ferrari F40. I drove under the speedlimit (50 mph for the most), and only used signs to get to Salt Lake. Really fun and relaxing route. I would maybe have prefered to take the highway a little over midway but I think I missed a turn.

    Hypercar Tierlist

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 10:14 AM PST

A friend of mine did some testing to get all the hypercars into a tierlist. before i get into that i want to make the testing situation completely clear:

    • The testing was done only in dry weather to eliminate the lack of grip from rain or snow.

    • Testing was done without any nitrous affixes, in order to mimic a pvp situation.

    • Testing was done by doing 5 clean runs, and the best times are the ones highlighted. the average times might be interesting to look at because they can be an indication of consistency of the car if they are not close to the fastest time.

    • No cuts, they can be tricky to get right and add another randomness factor that we did not like.

    • Giron's tunes were used, again this mimics a pvp situation where you want the best performance. the tunes are in the spreadsheet.

another thing to note, this is a test on White Rocks Hills, a track with twists and turns and no real straights to reach topspeed on. if you want to know which hypercar is the best in terms of topspeed this isn't your guide.

    Here is the spreadsheet

    a couple things of note that i want to personally expand on;

the f12tdf is in 3rd place in terms of fastest time, but on average it is behind the veneno, regular carrera GT, and the performante. this means it is probably fairly hard to extract the absolute maximum out of this car.

the top cars are summit editions, which in my opinion is unfair. would love to hear your thoughts about it though.

    Hypercar

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 05:38 PM PST

I want a new car but... I can't seem to make my mind up on which to get. I want the best speed but also handling. I have the agera, regera, Ferrari 458 speciale. I use the 458 way more than the others. Regera is only good at top speed, agera is faster getting to top speed but I still feel like its lacking. Any suggestions on a new car?

Things that i think should change about the crew 2

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 12:24 PM PST

(I already posted it on the crew 2 subreddit but this sub is much larger so im posting again)

    1. Live loot boxes should appear for everybody you are playing with (in your crew), when im going on road trips with my friends its annoying that only some of us can see the loot boxes and we all wait for 1 person to go find it.

    2. the fast-fav or fast switch mechanic should be changed slightly to allow for 6-8 vehicles (regardless of class) to be chosen, and instead of having the option of land, air, and ground vehicle, it could show a wheel of these 6-8 vehicles that you can then choose from. (if you have played steep it is similar to how you have a wheel of the 6 or so disciplines to choose from) This would make it easier to transition from on to offroad when exploring, switch from my stunt/speed plane, get big air and switch to another vehicle mid air, etc. Overall would make switching cars more fast paced and fun.

    3. this one seems more ambitious than the first 2, but getting more destroyable items in the map, a good example of some things that could become breakable are those metal barriers on the side of some tight turns, and some more small trees.

    4. 1 more small change would be to make the player's head face the direction the camera is (at least in first person), and when you hunch over on a motor cycle the camera angle doesnt change when in first person, which seems like it would be a small change

other than that its a good game

    Suzuki Hayabusa

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 04:04 PM PST

Does anyone know if the crew 2 is getting the Hayabusa? We have the Kawasaki Ninja which is a legend kf its own, but I'm just wondering if we'll ever see the hayabusa. It seems like a missed opportunity for then to add it to say something like the Street Racing discipline. Anyone know if its ever being added?
