    So i was using a few car on the strip south and i started with the x bow and the hurrican as they are supposed to be the best sr cars. The fastest possible time i could get out of either car was 1:51. I switched to an sls amg which is of course a tuned version of a regular sls which makes it much heavier than the x bow or hurrican. I managed to get 1:47 out of the sls and a 1:45 out of the rs 5 which are both modified versions of heavier cars. I felt like the sls and rs 5 handles more precisely perhaps due to the fact they have more down force because of the extra weight.

    Not the absolute best one, just good car with a reasonable price. Had the McLaren 12C in mind. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

    The Crew 1 as a single-player experience in 2020?

    I'm bored of Burnout Paradise on my PS4 and I want to pick up a more relaxing arcade-y racer for when I'm not playing GT Sport or Driveclub.

    TC2 was on sale recently, so I tried the 4-hour trial. I liked it but didn't love it—the races were fun enough but I don't care about boats/planes and the map is weirdly empty, which, with it being so large, made exploring it somewhat boring. Nonetheless, while I enjoyed TC2 despite its flaws, I'm a gamer on a budget and $15 is a cool indie I could pick up on my Switch.

    However, now TC1 is on sale and for only ~$7. I played the trial and although the handling was worse it was acceptable with some tweaking, the map seems better and more lively, and I like how it seems to encourage exploration more than TC2. Story is annoying, but the races were fun enough that I'm thinking of getting it.

    But I'm wondering, is there enough single-player content in the vanilla TC1 edition to justify the purchase? About how many races are there? Did the developers improve the annoying rubberband AI that reviewers complained about at launch?
