Posted: 12 May 2020 04:47 AM PDT This is beyond stupid. This race has you pitted against a 3008 DKR Maxi in the swamplands, with most of race being in and out of water. So every time you dare to drive into the water that is 85% of this race, you suffer gigantic speed penalty. Makes sense, right? Except the same slowdown that applies to you, doesn't apply to the ghost. You can stack yellow parts with max rolls for Muddy to reduce off road deceleration and you will still never be as fast as the ghost. It will ALWAYS go into water faster, and ALWAYS be faster full stop. It will gain 5-6 Metres on you every time you go in and out. Other routes than the ghosts 'optimal' route don't work, because the ghost is going that fast in its straight beelines between points that you can't beat it on any other route. I've tried this with the 959 Raid, X-Class, KX450F, Nomad, Hypermotard. Not one of them can match the through-water speed of this ghost maxi. And the reason why?... [Improved] Vehicle slowdown when driving off-road or in water should be more consistent across the whole line-up. The intention is that vehicles from off-road disciplines should now be more competitive, in line with what was initially planned. Inner Driver changed water speed and slowdown and no one ever went back to rebalance this race. So now its borderline impossible because you're driving a car nerfed by one patch and the ghost is from a different one. So no one can complete all rally raids now lol . Can we have this fixed? Paging /u/Elongo06 , can you pass this on to the team? I wouldnt spam anyone for an opinion piece but this is legitimately broken. Does anyone have any guaranteed win methods in the mean time?
