    Global Leaderboard Wipe - July 8

    Hi everyone,

     

    In addition to our July update, today's maintenance will also apply a full leaderboard wipe (events and skills). Since our last wipe in April 2019, new vehicles, fixed exploits, and tweaked handling and behaviour, have all led to many scores no longer being attainable.

     

    We want The Crew 2's leaderboards to be as representative of Motornation's competitive scene as possible, and believe that a full wipe is the best way to achieve this today. Please note that Fame, PvP rankings, and progression are not impacted. Thanks for your understanding.

    Still a thing, the FPS drop still a thing, the loading feels like I’m playing a game from the 2000s, the Ubisoft app also doesn’t track stats ( the only game with performance, tracking and synchronising issues )

    Upgrade overhaul

    Can we get an overhaul to how we earn new parts? I am loving the current stream of content this game is getting but I feel the rng upgrade system is preventing many to invest more than a glance.

    First thing - upgrading They are completely rng. In order to get "fully" upgraded, you need: - 280 parts - gold parts - gold parts with desirable 7/7 active affix - re-rolling the 2 other affixes until desirable combo is met.

    This can take very long to do, and is definitely the most tedious car upgrading system I have ever seen within any racing game.

    Not to mentions 50% of the time you will be holding the "square" button to junk car parts , and re-roll affixes.

    Such interesting gameplay...

    Issues with specific disciplines: Drift, monster trucks, "skill based disciplines"

    The skilled based disciplines where you earn score in order to beat events are unaffected by higher part score.

    It doesn't matter how high your part score is.. all that really matters is you affixes...

    Once again rng plays a big role in upgrading in the crew 2

    Other franchises have already solved this issue..., by letting players buy their parts directly with in game currency no strings attached.

    Also the skill tree system is terrible. farming loot, but now need to reallocate to other skills for racing?

    There has been times where I have spent literally 30mins! Scrapping in game parts for secondary currency...

    A 50's car with a 50's 'weather'

    2020 Carrera 4S with the "Future" "weather". Why on earth are those additions in weather? And the reflections for this filter are a massive tease.

    [PS4] Issues regarding Photo mode after the update

    Alright, here goes, another update, another series of glitches to report.

    I noticed 2 issues with photo mode so far (plus the synchronisation issue which isn't fixed) : - Changing any parameter that's not a slider in the photo mode settings will prevent from switching to any other option in the same tab (example : on/off toggle, weather settings, time, etc), using up/down on the dpad on ps4. Workaround : switching tabs allows up/down on dpad to work again, until another setting is changed.

    • Time of the day is glitched in 2 ways : either any given time appears twice (example : 8:00 -> 8:00 -> 8:30 -> 8:30pm, instead of 8:00-> 8:30) or it switches to an unrelated time (example of what i have right now : 7:30->9:00->8:00->9:30->8:30->10:00, etc).

    The first glitch may affect other parts of the game with similar mechanics.
